Panic Exit Device is used on doors in public buildings to provide a quick and easy means of exiting a building in the event of an emergency, such as a fire or other life-threatening situations.
Panic Exit Device Function - Operated by a horizontal push bar, which when pushed in a downward arc withdraws either the bolts or latch, releasing the door for immediate escape in the event of an emergency.
Features:
- Designed to provide emergence egress by a single action pushing motion via a modern design touch pad, fitted horizontally across the door
- Provides secure two point latching in top and bottom of door and offers latch hold back (dogging) options,external trim options for lever / knob or pull handle and is suitable for double or single, metal or timber doors
- Horizontal fitting with 2 point vertical locking
- Latch-bolt is dead-latching
- Field selectable handing
- Hex key dogging
Specifications:
- Door Thickness: 35mm - 50mm
- Suits: Up to 2100mm high doors
- Length: 1085mm (can be field sized to 645 mm minimum length)
